This notice covers the CodeSummon website at codesummon.org. Right now the site does one thing: it lets you join our early-access waitlist. CodeSummon is a project by Weeno.
What we collect
- Your email address — only when you submit the waitlist form.
- Basic analytics — pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location from a shortened IP address. This happens only if you accept analytics cookies.
That's all. We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it for any automated decisions.
Why we use it
- Your email — so we can tell you when CodeSummon opens and send early-access updates. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Analytics — to understand what's useful on the site. This runs only with your consent, through the cookie banner.
Who helps us handle it
- Brevo (EU-based) stores the waitlist and sends our emails.
- Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, provides the optional analytics and loads only if you accept. This can involve transfer to the US under standard data-protection safeguards.
Your choices and rights
- Leave the list anytime. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately and withdraws your consent.
- Access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how it's used — just reply to any email from us and we'll handle it.
- Cookies are opt-in. Analytics cookies load only after you accept. Change or withdraw that choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or the button below.
- You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How long we keep it
- Your waitlist email — until you unsubscribe, or until we invite you to a full account at launch.
- Analytics — per Google Analytics' standard retention.

We use Google Consent Mode: until you opt in, analytics storage stays off by default. We don't use advertising cookies, and the site works fine with cookies blocked.
Security & children
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, though no system is ever fully secure. The site isn't directed at children under 16.
